ELDERS’ WRITE & HIKE: Thursday, September 14th from 11am-2pm
A gentle write-and-hike session on the first mile of flat, wide trail along the Dosewallips River.









Due to the road washout 20 years ago, what was previously Olympic National Park’s very popular Dosewallips River Road has become a less-traveled foot trail, affording beautiful, tree-lined views on a wide, gentle trail with stable footing for those who appreciate a predictably flat path! If you’re feeling adventurous, there are also side-trails explore around the river, with ample time for group and individual writing exercises to deepen one’s connection to Self and nature.
Roundtrip distance is 2 miles with easy, flat grade and stable footing in a beautiful riverside setting in Brinnon, WA.
As with all our offerings, this mini-retreat is rain or shine, so please dress accordingly.

TIME: 11am-2pm
COST: $40-$85 sliding scale
BRING: An easily portable folding chair and a daypack with a journal, pen, lunch, snacks and water
